9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Training is required before a potential Support Group Leader may begin facilitating support groups. New Group Facilitator training is a total of eight hours, therefore training will take place as a two-part series, offered in four-hour blocks of time on separate days.

Co-facilitating a Calm Waters support group is an immensely rewarding experience that can foster healing change in the lives of others.
Our support group facilitators work with children ages 3-18 years of age and their guardians. A supervisor remains on-site while group sessions occur.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer support group facilitator, you must:
- Apply online here
- complete an in-person interview
- Complete the 3 to 6 hour online training class
- Complete the 8 hour in-person Calm Waters training class (part 1 and part 2)
- Provide two references
- Clear an OSBI background check
- Agree to a six-month facilitation commitment

Option 1: Wednesday, July 10, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Option 2: Tuesday, July 16, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Group Facilitator Training, Part 2
Option 1: Thursday, July 11, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Option 2: Wednesday, July 17, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
